Designed to load quickly, the short belly and long rear taper create the most versatile line in our saltwater flats range. This is the taper for the vast majority of conditions, fly rods, and anglers.
The Superflo Flats Universal Taper is a dedicated fly line for fishing in tropical waters. This line covers all floating line fishing for bonefish, permit, tarpon and giant trevally. The high temperature and humidity in tropical areas affect the coating in the fly lines so much that you should always use a line specifically for these conditions. A tropical coating is harder and stiffer, which is because they can withstand the heat without becoming soft and difficult to handle.
